The Souris Show Hall is looking for candidates for the job of seasonal Theatre Manager for 12 June to 18 September 2023.
The Theatre Manger is a Central part of a team establishing an exciting Cultural Center in the oldest theatre in PEI.
As this is a small theatre, duties include all aspects associated with operating a community theatre- such as personnel, marketing, financial, box office, sound and administration., etc.
Flexibility of hours worked is essential and requires weekend and evening duties according to events scheduled.
Monday 12 June 2023 – 18 September 2023 (14 weeks)
Hours: 40 hours per week, includes weekends and evenings.
Salary: $18 per hour plus 4% vacation
Accommodation in Souris provided free for the duration of the contract.

Works with and under the direction of the Theatre Manager. As this is a small theatre duties include Box Office, Concession, Cleaning, Administrative duties, marketing and financial reports related to box office and concession (Training provided). As well as assisting Theatre manager in duties as required. As this is a live musical performance venue hours of work require evening and weekend work.
Terms: 8-12 weeks (June, July, August); 37.5 hours a week. $15 per hour plus 5.7 % vacation pay

The Souris Show Hall Foundation is accepting applications for volunteer Board Members for various positions on the Board to assist. All skills are welcome and while previous Board experience is an asset it is not necessary. Individuals with skills beyond the arts such as business, accounting, fundraising, social media, and hospitality are sought.
We wish to increase our Board with a diversity of individuals from the Souris area who:
- Have a passion for the arts with an interest in cultivating community and connection;
- Will attend regular monthly Board meetings;
- Will support Souris Show Hall Foundation events such as shows, workshops, & fundraising;
- Will work with at least one Committee.
The Souris Show Hall is seeking a group of Volunteers to assist with box office, ticket sales, concession, ushers, safety etc during events.
In return for a few hours of assistance volunteers have the opportunity to contribute their voice to the future direction of the Souris Show Hall while enjoying a free event.
