VENUE
The Souris Show Hall was built by the Benevolent Irish Society in 1891 and has delighted audiences ever since. In 1916 the Souris Show Hall began screening silent films, and the venue served as a community cinema for many years during the 20th century.
We strive to honour the rich history of this building in our programming and renovations, while also building toward a vibrant future!
The Souris Show Hall is a 148 seat theatre with a semi-circular stage. The venue is wheelchair accessible via a ramp, with one accessible washroom. We are not currently licensed, but you are able to purchase non-alcoholic beverages and snacks at our concession area in the lobby.
Most of our performances begin at 7:30, unless otherwise noted and seating is done by general admission. Doors open a half hour before the performance. Come early, grab a snack and a 50/50 ticket and support our local Show Hall!
